John Lennon one day decided to leave India. He was a guest of the Maharishi, who had attracted them there due to his reputation for having deep insights. When Lennon saw the Maharishi, he told him that he and his mates were leaving. The Maharishi, confused, asked why. Lennon simply replied, "If you're so cosmic, you should know why we're leaving."
