Statue of Sergei Parajanov, an Armenian from Georgia. The statue apparently is in Tbilisi, at Shardeni street. He is perhaps the best film-maker that you never heard of. He spent his entire career behind the Iron Curtain but still managed to win a British BAFTA award for "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors," but which also got him in trouble with Moscow.
