Every so often, I post a motivational speech by Arnold Schwarzenegger. While he's an action star and a former Governor of California, Schwarzenegger also is renowned for his motivational speeches.

You should listen to one of Arnold's speeches at some point even if you don't think you need any motivation. Without stealing any of his thunder, here are Arnold Schwarzenegger's critical points on how to succeed in life.

Find Your Vision - and Follow It.

Don't drift around. You need a vision. Pain is temporary. Discover your vision and the rest will follow.

Never, Ever Think Small. Think Big.

Don't think small. People think small because they are afraid of failing. If you fall, you can get up, and when you get up, you are a winner. If you do something, go all-out and do it well.

Ignore the Naysayers.

Don't be worried that nobody has done it before. Be the one to set the records and be the champion. Don't listen to anyone who tells you that you have limitations.

Work Hard.

You don't want to be the guy that fails because you didn't work hard enough. No pain, no gain. If you don't apply this rule, the other rules mean nothing. Don't waste a single hour.

Don't just Take. Give Something Back.

We will be judged not by what we have, but by what we give. Give something back to your country. Help others. Giving something back is more important than just thinking about yourself. Leave the world a better place than you found it.
